The Bridge community church is an organization that prides itself on doing things differently and to a high standard. Little wonder then that they wanted an awesome web presence that would serve as not only a sign post on the information highway, but a full featured pit stop where people could spend time in community.
The design for The Bridge’s web site was undertaken with specific goals in mind. What is the most crucial information to communicate? Not only to new visitors at the church but the faithful that attend each week for years? What value lay online for people already acquainted with the church? The answer was multi-faceted. A main portal for quick hit event announcements; smartly organized information on the church’s beliefs and programs; a full featured community section for church attendees to interact. All of this powered by a Joomla CMS to enable the staff to quickly and easily update the content. I was honoured to be able to provide creative oversight and production of all graphic assets on a project that not only served a client but touched people’s lives as well.
Special thanks to Joshua Lee for site development and Michael Raymer for content creation and administration.
As The Bridge is always striving for continued excellence, preparations are already under way to transform the site in the new calendar year.
