Always searching for alternative expressions of worship, The Bridge community church began the “Enter” summer series in 2010 as a bi-monthly event to give people a different view of how church can look. From music to visual art to drama, Enter encapsulated all creative disciplines under the banner of worship with the credo that everyone and anyone has been created creative.
I was pumped to be given the opportunity to oversee the art direction for the event in March 2012. Being an explicitly creative and alternative event to the regular run-of-the-mill church event meant the look and feel had to pop and push the boundaries of conventional church design. I took that creative freedom and ran with it; crafting an atmosphere and mood that was at once dark and contemplative as it was vibrant and dynamic. The main look was carried across all the media used during the event from powerpoint slides to print and web advertising.
